British Columbia Ministry of Health Website Features CADTH Work on SMBG
The British Columbia Ministry of Health features CADTH’s findings and recommendations on their new web page about self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) for patients with type 2 diabetes who are not using insulin. Intended to provide information to health professionals and promote the Ministry’s “Test with Purpose” message, the web page features adapted versions of CADTH’s SMBG Optimal Therapy Newsletter, Quick Reference Prescribing Aid, and Alternate Prescription tool — the latter posted in eight languages.
For more information about CADTH’s recommendations on the optimal prescribing and use of SMBG, please visit the Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose section of the CADTH website.
